The winning tree event team which went by the name of Palm consisting of Robert Doble, Paul Volpone & Gerry Di Pietro. They happily walked away with $20 each cash.
After a couple time changes due to weather, we finally settled in for a Noon Sunday start time, which worked out perfectly with dry comfortable conditions and nary a drop of rain. Because of the early rain the courts were a little slow but manageable.
Random draw for teams worked out well with close competition which shows the depth of the bocce players we have.
On to the next big event which will be The Italian Festival at Seattle Center last weekend of September.
Thanks, Greg
